Definitions

"Accordinglydone.com", "Accordingly Done", or "AD" is an online message board privately owned, operated and funded by a private party on the World Wide Web. "Members" or from here on "you" means each person who establishes or accesses a connection ("Account") for access to and use of this site's services as either a guest or a registered member. This "Terms of Service" outline and explain the guidelines and rules which you agree to comply with.

Acceptance of Terms

Service is provided to you subject to the following Terms of Service which may be updated from time to time without notice to you. Registration denotes acceptance of these Terms. Accordingly Done, its administrators, moderators, and host cannot be held responsible for the authenticity of the content of posts made on the forums or for the actions of its members. All views and/or opinions expressed on this site are those of the posting members, not AD. Items sold or bought in the Classifieds forum are sold as is and no warranty or insurance of any kind is provided. AD cannot be held responsible for the outcome of any transactions and no warranty of any kind is provided, either express or implied. Meets, contests and other activities arranged by members or third parties are not endorsed by AD and no guarantee or warranty of any kind is made or implied; attend or participate at your own risk.

Chassis Modifications Forum:

First and foremost, Accordingly Done is an Accord-platform PERFORMANCE site. We cannot stress this enough. This forum is for technical posts regarding body repair and care, weight reduction, racing gear and aerodynamic components, and electronic equipment such as stereos, EMS, and battery relocation. We realize that some of you do indeed like to dress up your cars with body kits and stickers and colored lights, but please be aware of the fact that we DO NOT. Please refrain from posts regarding body kits, altezza taillights, huge wings, oversized wheels, and other non-beneficial appearance modifications. Posts of this nature will most likely be locked or deleted.


The Off-Topic Lounge:

If you feel the need to post about off-topic (i.e. NOT Accord-related) subjects, please do so in the Parking Lot. You will also note that there are a few stickied threads in the Parking Lot, one to post your AIM screen name, another to post pictures of your car, and another to post your pictures. These three threads are for that purpose only, and no other posts should be made in those areas. If you feel the need to comment about some young stud's hot body, please do so in the Parking Lot or in Private Messages. Also, discussion of illegal activity is strictly prohibited and will result in deleted posts and possibly warning points.

Every other forum on Accordingly Done has a specific topic. Please be aware of the topic of the particular forum you post in, and please keep it on topic.


The Classifieds forum:

We have a Classifieds forum for selling and buying items from other members. As stated previously, Accordingly Done or its staff are NOT responsible for any transactions occuring as a result of a classified ad. As a precautionary measure, we've restricted users from posting new ads until they are established members (members for 30 days and have at least 30 posts). This will keep most scammers from posting and ad once and running off with your money. It also gives you the chance to get to know another member before exchanging money and parts with them.


Accordingly Done News:

ONLY Moderators and Admins are allowed to post new threads in this forum. Threads created in this forum will show up on the front page as news articles. Members MAY post comments regarding an existing article, however. If you come across an article worthwhile of the news section, please PM or email it to one of the staff members and you will be credited for the find.


Posting, Avatars, and Signatures:

Posting: We do not have a language restriction on Accordingly Done. Use whatever language you like, so long as it isn't racist or prejudiced in any way. All the members are at least 16 or older, therefore everyone here is adult enough to handle a little rough language. If you're offended, you should probably not be on the internet. No pornographic (i.e. containing nudity) or obscenely violent or disgusting pictures are permitted. If what you are posting is within the limits but still considered risqué (i.e. will get you fired at work) then you MUST post 'NWS' (Not Work Safe) in the thread's title. Posts about street racing and related chronically idiotic behavior WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

Avatars: Avatars are limited to a size of 100x100 pixels and 20KB in filesize. Only one image is allowed, and no animated gifs are permitted. You may not use pornographic or obscenely violent pictures.

Signatures: Use common sense. Keep your signatures managably small. Do not post mod lists or items for sale in your signature. If your signature is longer than your average post, it needs to be changed. Please take pity on our 56k and low-resolution users.


Warnable Offenses:

Here at Accordingly Done we like to think of ourselves as fairly liberal and laidback in regards to posting rules and allowances. However, even we find some behavior intolerable or distasteful, and such acts will be dealt with accordingly (no pun intended). We have a warning system, which to this day has not seen much use. If you rack up enough warnings, you are banned. The warnable offenses and their warning points are as follows:


Spamming (Crossposting) - Posting the same thread in multiple forums or multiple times in one forum. Also includes unneccesary post whoring in on-topic forums.

Insubordination - If a user directly disobeys a moderator's or administrator's request to abstain from particular behavior.

Blatant Advertising - If a member posts a store-related advertisement anywhere in the forum. If you wish to advertise, please see our advertising plans.

Private Messaging Abuse - Harassing another member through the use of the Private Messaging function.

Graphically Pornographic/Violent/Disgusting Post - Posting images which are pornographic or graphically violent or disgusting in nature.

Unnecessary Flaming - Being unnecessarily rude to another forum member.

Massive Advertising/Spamming - If a member posts MULTIPLE store-related advertisements anywhere in the forum.

Disrespect Towards Forum Leaders - Multiple counts of Insubordination or being unnecessarily disrespectful towards moderators or administrators.

Racist/Prejudiced Remarks - We do not tolerate racism, prejudice, or sexism of any kind. Keep it off our forums!

Blatant Trolling - The only offense warranting an instant ban. Obvious and blatant trolling specifically to start trouble -- do so and you're GONE.
