the lines go from the pcv valve-->catch can -->intake manifold on a N/A setup, think of it as an inline filter

on a F/I setup its like this: PCV Valve-->Catch Can-->Turbo Inlet Pipe

well i picked all of this stuff up today from wal-mart, home-depot, and advance auto parts. i went ahead and got a new pcv valve since i will be there any way.

I had something just like this on my car... like a year and a half ago...

It stops the oil... but the engine makes like a weird little sound while it's on. I don't know if it's bad... just annoying... you can only hear it when the hood it up and you're right next to it... but, it kind of unsettled me.

Ai told me it was dumb and to take it off... maybe when I turbo it I'll put it back on...

here you go, i didnt label the other vacuum hose off of the valve cover but a filter works great here with F/I because its dangerous to pressurize the valve cover breather, with N/A keep your stock lines for the valve cover breather.

No Vaccuum leak.... you could just hear a...like almost a rattle on the inside of it...

It ran fine, and it does reduce the amount of oil you get in the intake which is nice... maybe I'll put one on after I get the pnp head and manifold on that biznatch... keep it nice and clean.

I know where the PCV valves comes from, but can anyone take a picture of the vaccum source on the intake manifold?

less sludge build up in the intake runners, on top of the pistons, and i have also heard that crankcase gasses lower the octane of the air in the combustion chamber, so the lesser the crankcase gas the better.
